And what an adventure it was! My daughter, Shelby, and her fiance, Kyle, picked March 30th for their wedding day. Did I mention that they wanted an outside wedding…in March…in Wyoming? Yep. The weather lived up to it’s billing. I had been in contact with our local weatherman, Mike Sils, to keep up-to-date with the latest weather forecasts for that day. He suggested that we go with plan “B” (which was to have the wedding inside.) Thank goodness for that heads-up because the day started out with rain, then the biggest snowflakes I have ever seen, then hail, and then rain, again. The wedding venue was in a barn in the country. My sister-in-law had to shuttle all the guests up to the barn in her 4-wheel drive. Needless to say, it slowed down progress of all the things that needed to be accomplished prior to the “I do’s.” Despite the mud, the wedding was still very beautiful.
The theme was mainly sunflowers with a smattering of Batman accents. Kyle painted this city scape.

My husband and I created these chandeliers. He welded the frames together and then we added lights, tulle, and ribbon.
